What Equipment Will You Need for this Legs Program?
There are THREE primary pieces or types of equipment you WILL NEED to get the most from this program.
The first is a set of progressive-resistance mini-elastic bands to be placed around your knees. The lateral resistance from the band provides some resistance to help you build hip stability and strength!
NOTE: You WILL NEED the progressive levels because you will become stronger as you train and will need the added resistance of the heavier bands! Look a bit further down the page for more information on the bands I recommend you use!
Keep reading as I will give you the source information for the bands as the last item on this page. 🙂
The second type of equipment you’ll need is soft-tissue treatment, recovery, and release tools to ensure your soft connective tissue is healthy so that you CAN get the very most from this training.
The third piece of equipment you will need is a strap for bent-knee calf raises. Keep reading a bit further down the page to find out the best source for this strap.

What is the best source for these
recovery and self-massage tools?
In my opinion, there’s no debate. I’ve used every tool there is and without question, THE VERY BEST available are those made by RAD Roller.
What specific tools are most valuable for your training?
- The “Best Sellers” kit pictured to the left contains just about everything you need to get started on quality soft tissue self-massage.
- The “Rod,” pictured as part of the kit, is absolutely the best “stick” for self-myofascial release that I have ever used. It’s solid, rolls easily, and is virtually indestructible!
- The “Point Release Kit” (also pictured as part of the larger kit) is the block along with 4 rounds – balls to allow you to dig into smaller areas more effectively. The smaller blue ball is ABSOLUTELY my favorite tool for my feet and getting deep into the hip.
RAD also has a free app for your Apple or Android smart phone!
