Coach Al and Dr. Kurt Strecker at Multisport World Boston
We look forward to working we these awesome athletes to uncover the weaknesses, compensations, and instabilities that are holding them back from training and racing to their true potential. The 2012 season just got a whole lot brighter for both of them!
At the NYC event, we offered Guided Movement Screens, and they were a hit! We will be offering them again in Boston. This 15-minute screen will help you begin to discover what is impeding your performance–where you are leaking speed, or if you have hot-spot areas ripe for injury. It’s only $25 for expo participants ($95 value). Slots went fast in New York, so secure your spot by registering here in advance.
Our very own Coach Al Lyman is presenting the seminar, TRIATHLON TRAINING IN THE 21ST CENTURY: MOVEMENT QUALITY FIRST! at 11 am. In the talk, Coach Al will cover why establishing a foundation of quality “authentic” movement with minimal compensation and dysfunction is essential for long term improvement, injury resistance, and overall health for every single triathlete. Special guest, Ironman World Champion record holder Lisbeth Kenyon will join Al to talk about her own movement issues, and how dealing with the challenges have impacted her training and racing.
Finally, you can also register at the booth to a free on-site or virtual online gait analysis package! As you can see there will be lots going on! We hope to see many of you on Saturday!

Attending Multisport World Boston on March 31? We’re offering the same gait analysis package drawings there! Be sure to stop by the booth to register.

Congrats again to our winners! And we hope to see many of you in Boston!
We had a great time at the MultiSport World in New York City last weekend! We got to talk triathlon all day long–what could be better?!
Throughout the day we offered “Guided Movement Screens.” These screens are an athlete’s first step in identifying what is missing from their training and racing plans. So many of the triathletes we talked to had the same stories of ongoing injuries and performance plateaus. We totally understand their confusion at KNOWING they can run faster off the bike, yet always falling short. We hope the movement screens helped them begin to see that with better quality movement, they can get over dispiriting cycles of injury and disappointing performance.
The triathletes we met with walked away with a clearer view of: *Where they were “leaking” speed * “Hot spots” ripe for injury * Targeted strength work they needed to do
The sessions were 15 minutes, and we offered them at a special price of $25 for expo participants. The session included an on-the-spot written report of results.
We are also offering the Guided Movement Screens at Multisport World Boston on March 31. If you are planning to attend, you can sign up in advance for your session. We’re pleased to say, all of the triathletes we worked in New York with felt it was well worth their time. Many are planning further follow up. Hope we see you in Boston, or at our Gait Analysis Lab in person!

Kurt demonstrates proper form when bridging; preparing the written report.
Kurt is skeptical about this triathlete’s choice of running shoes. We gave lots of shoe advice all day!
It was great to spend the day talking triathlon to people who are passionate about the sport!
